Surveying is well equipped and has the experience to cater
for all types of engineering surveys including roads, bridges,
railways, pipelines, transmission lines, tunnels, hydro electrical,
water supply and treatment plants, refineries, etc.
Typical
engineering surveys could include:
Detail
and Level Survey -
preliminary survey of the land to be developed showing all
features natural and built, boundaries, easements, services,
etc. Detail and level survey of all existing pipework and
plant to aid in the design process.
Earthworks
Volumes
- survey
and calculation of earthworks volumes during construction
compared to preliminary model or finished design. Volumes
could include dredging volumes for marine works.
Set-Out
Survey – setout for all stages of development
from earthworks and excavation to piles, piers and footings
to all structural elements, plant and the like to completion
of project.
Monitoring
Surveys – at times it is necessary to monitor
the movement of structures which could include pavement deformation,
deep excavation, bridges, towers, walls, beams and buildings |
